Acceptance of Terms
By using Hinglish Vinglish, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Description of Service
Hinglish Vinglish is a language learning app that helps users learn Hindi through interactive lessons, pronunciation practice, an AI conversation coach, and themed scenarios. Some content is available free; the full library is available through subscription or grandfathered lifetime access (see Legacy Access Provision below).
User Accounts
- You may use the app as a guest or create an account using Google or Apple Sign-In
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
Subscriptions
Hinglish Vinglish offers two auto-renewing subscription products:
- Monthly Premium: $5.99 per month (or local equivalent)
- Yearly Premium: $59.99 per year (or local equivalent)
Both unlock all paid chapters, our AI conversation coach, and a recurring credit allowance for in-chapter pronunciation practice (500 credits per month or 6,000 credits per year, granted upfront on each renewal).
Free Trial. New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. After the trial ends, your selected subscription begins charging unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Hinglish Vinglish on iOS. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Price Changes. We may adjust subscription prices. You will be notified of any price increase in advance, and your continued subscription after the change constitutes acceptance.
Legacy Access Provision
Important: If you obtained access to our app before the introduction of our subscription products, this section preserves your existing rights.
Lifetime Access Holders. Users who purchased our Lifetime Access product at any time retain perpetual access to all premium features included with their purchase, with no recurring fees. This commitment is not modified or superseded by the introduction of our subscription products.
Grandfathered Users. Users whose accounts were created before our subscription products were introduced, and who received complimentary access to legacy modules under our previous pricing model, retain that access permanently, with no recurring fees.
These users are NOT subject to the auto-renewal, free trial, or cancellation provisions described in the Subscriptions section above, and are under no obligation to purchase a subscription.
You retain the right to optionally purchase a subscription if you wish to access features added after your original purchase, but you are not required to do so to maintain access at the level you originally had.
Refunds
Subscriptions. Subscription refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or follow Apple's refund process from your Apple ID account. We can assist in some cases — contact support@keedastudios.com.
Lifetime Purchases. Refund requests for past Lifetime Access purchases follow the same Apple-managed refund process. Lifetime access is a one-time non-refundable purchase outside Apple's standard refund window, unless required by local consumer protection law.
Credits. In-app credits purchased separately are non-refundable as they are consumed by app features. Unused credits remain in your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' use of the app
- Reverse engineer or copy the app
Intellectual Property
All original content in the app, including lessons, curriculum, and design, is owned by Keeda Studios and protected by copyright laws. Audio and speech analysis generated through third-party AI services is used under license.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Pronunciation feedback and speech analysis are generated by AI and may not always be accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keeda Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the app will immediately cease
- We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Keeda Studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California.
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
You and Keeda Studios agree to resolve any disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify.
- Arbitration Rules: Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules
- No Class Actions: You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration
- Costs: We will pay all AAA filing and arbitrator fees for claims under $10,000, unless the arbitrator determines your claim is frivolous
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@keedastudios.com within 30 days of first using the app
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keeda Studios regarding your use of the app and supersede any prior agreements.
